Play areas can incorporate seating areas, meeting huts, sandpits, water play features, equipment stores, etc.
The protective canopy consists of a series of glass reinforced plastic roof panels either flat or half barrels on a steel frame structure, bolted to concrete foundations. These can be of any colour and offer protection against inclement weather and direct sunlight.
All are manufactured and constructed by KM Beesley Ltd, a charted building company and contractor to Leicestershire County Council.
